आभास बुढाथोकी २०८१ वैशाख १० गते ६:५० वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा गएर वर्षौंदेखि परिवारको सम्पर्कमा नरहेका २६२ श्रमिकहरु कहाँ छन् ? १० वैशाख, काठमाडौं । दाङ घोराही उपमहानगरपालिका–१६ की लीला खड्का २०७५ साउन १३ मा वैदेशिक रोजगारीका लागि कुवेत गइन् । एजेन्ट मार्फत भारतको बाटो भएर उनी कुवेत पुगेकी थिइन् । त्यहाँ उनी एक जना अरबीको घरमा घरेलु कामदारका रूपमा काम गर्थिन् । त्यहाँ पुगेको वर्षदिनसम्म उनी परिवारसँग सम्पर्कमै थिइन् । अरबीको घरमा आफूले दैनिक १८ घण्टा काम गर्नु परेको कुरा परिवारलाई सुनाउँथिन् । ‘यहाँ धेरै दुःख छ भन्दै रुँदै फोन गर्थी’ आमा लालमती खड्काले भनिन्, ‘फोन पनि लुकेर गर्थी, पछि त ऊ सम्पर्कमै आइनँ ।’ २०७६ मंसिर ७ गतेदेखि परिवारसँग उनको सम्पर्क टुटेको थियो । पछि उनीसँग कुरा हुँदै आएको नम्बरमा फोन लाग्नै छोड्यो । अवैध रुपमा गएकाले परिवारलाई उनको खोजतलास गर्न गाह्रो भयो । ६ वर्ष हुँदा पनि उनी सम्पर्कमा आउन सकेकी छैनन् । उनी कहाँ गइन्, कसरी हराइन् भन्ने कुरा परिवारका सदस्य कसैलाई थाहा छैन । वैदेशिक रोजगारीको सिलसिलामा कतार पुगेका इलामका ४१ वर्षीय यमबहादुर गुरुङ पनि ५ वर्षदेखि हराइरहेका छन् । २०७६ सालको कोभिड संक्रमणकालमा परिवारसँग सम्पर्कमा नरहेका उनको अत्तोपत्तो छैन । सुरुमा परिवारका सदस्यहरुले उनले काम गर्ने कम्पनीमा सम्पर्क गर्न खोजेको थियो तर सफल भएन । ‘पहिले–पहिले कम्पनीमा फोन लाग्थ्यो, तर धेरै भाषा नबुझ्दा समस्या भयो’ श्रीमती रिंकु पाण्डेले भनिन्, ‘पछि त त्यो फोन लाग्नै छोड्यो ।’ श्रीमती रिंकुले श्रीमानको खोजीका लागि अनेक कोसिस गरिन् । सबै सरकारी निकाय धाइन् । तर श्रीमानको कुनै खबर आएन । ‘कोभिड महामारी फैलिएपछि हराउनुभयो’ श्रीमती रिंकुले भनिन्, ‘तर अहिलेसम्म मरे–बाँचेको पत्तो छैन ।’ आज पनि परिवारका सदस्यहरुले खोजतलास जारी राखेका छन् । विभिन्न माध्यमबाट वैदेशिक रोजगारमा पुगेका कतिपय नेपाली श्रमिकहरु लामो समयदेखि परिवारको सम्पर्कमा छैनन् । वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा पुगेर हराइरहेकाहरु कहाँ गए, कसरी हराए भन्ने कुरा न परिवारलाई थाहा छ, न त राज्यले नै उनीहरुको खोजतलास गरेको छ । वैदेशिक रोजगार बोर्डका निर्देशक टीकाराम ढकालले श्रम स्वीकृति लिएर परदेश गई घाइते भएकाको उद्धार तथा ज्यान गुमाएका श्रमिकको शव फिर्ता गर्ने काम गरिने बताउँछन् । तर सम्पर्कविहीन भएका नेपाली श्रमिकहरुको हकमा खोजतला…
