Air Quality & Liveability in South Asia

The Environment Index2018 ranked Nepal lowest in AirQuality. Kathmandu's low rank (129th/140 cities) in the Global Livability Index reflects these results. Similar patterns are seen across South Asia where rapid urbanization and industrialization has lead to acute air pollution.
