CARDAMOM FARMING IN NEPAL 2015/16

Nepal is the third largest exporter of cardamom after Guatemala and India. In FY 2015/16, cardamom was farmed in 12,121 hectares of land on which a total of 5842.27 metric tons of cardamom were produced. India is the major export destination of Nepalese cardamom. In FY 2015/16 3,006.23 metric tons of cardamom were exported from Nepal.
