Women in Power: Nepal has 7 women mayors, 276 women deputy mayors, 11 women chair persons & 424 women vice chair persons making a total of 718 in top two positions in local bodies. While these numbers are an important milestone,there still is a long way to go to break the barriers for women to make it to the top.
