FEMALE MIGRATION FOR FOREIGN EMPLOYMENT , 2015

Of the total migrants going abroad for foreign employment, 4% are female. The top 5 destinations for female migrants are Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Kuwait and Qatar. Almost half of the female migrants come from the districts of Jhapa, Sindupalchowk, Makawanpur, Morang, Kathmandu, Kavrepalanchok, Nuwakot, Illam, Dolakha and Ramechap.
