INDUSTRY REGISTRATION 2073/74

In 2073/74, 508 new industries were registered in Nepal, creating 26478 new jobs and adding total capital of Rs. 162952.01 million to the Nepali economy. Service sector had the most number (165) of new industry registrations, almost one third (32.48%) of the total registrations. This sector was also the second highest employment creator (26.48%) after the Manufacturing sector (40.32%). In terms of capital investment, Energy based industries accounted for 50.45% of the total capital.
