Approximately 65% of the total budget has been allocated to the 22 ministries of the Nepali government. Office of the Prime Minister & Council of Ministers has the highest amount (Rs156.28 billion), followed by Ministry of Education, Science & Technology (Rs 134.51 billion). Ministry of Livestock Development has received the lowest amount (Rs 0.036 billion).
