KATHMANDU: Sajha Yatayat has finalised preparations to commence a new technology-supported payment and ticketing services in its public buses.
According to Mahendra Pandey, Acting CEO of Sajha Yatayat, “Sajha is launching the e-ticketing with the coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank. The passengers may use debit cardd to pay transport fare.”
The e-ticketing service, which will be applicable for all the buses run by Sajha Yatayat to and from different parts, is expected to start soon.
After the launching of the new payment and ticketing service, passengers will be directly benefitted.
The Sajha Yatayat currently has 46 buses in operation, of them 44 are operated within Kathmandu Valley and the remaining two outside the valley.
