Economy, Society, and Public Policy (ESPP) is a new way to learn economics. It’s designed for students studying social sciences and other disciplines who want to understand how the economy works and how it can be made to work better.
Policy problems are used to motivate learning the concepts and methods of economics. No previous knowledge of economics is needed.
This ebook is the result of a worldwide collaboration between researchers, educators, and students who are committed to bringing the socially relevant insights of economics to a broader audience.
The Beta version of the first five units of ESPP is now available. A further seven units will be added in June/July 2018.
ESPP is accompanied by step-by-step data-based projects that address important policy problems using real data. Go to Doing Economics.
